City to Remove Stop Signs at Railroad Crossings
FULTON — The City of Fulton will be removing stop signs Monday which had been previously placed at railroad crossings inside the city limits.
A press release from the City of Fulton stated the locations of the stop sign removal are at Westminster Avenue, Ewing Avenue, Industrial Road and St. Eunice Road.
Crossbucks, installed by the Ozark Valley Railroad, will replace the stop signs at these intersections and should be observed the same as a yield sign.
The release said the stop signs are being removed after the City Council passed an ordinance at its January 8 meeting.
Motorists are urged to use caution when in these areas Monday.
