COLUMBIA - A portion of Clark Lane between Robert Ray Drive and the Ballenger Place roundabout will open at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
A driver in Columbia said the closure has been difficult for her.
"I was like fifteen minutes late to work the other day," Taylor Hynes said. "I think it's nice that they're fixing the roads up, but it's just been kind of inconvenient for me getting to work and stuff. And my mom lives over here so I normally just travel on this road a lot, all the time."
Workers at Casey's General Store on Clark Lane said it's actually been busier there since the closure.
The Columbia Public Works department had crews expand the shoulders on both sides for bikers and pedestrians.
The expansion is part of the Clark Lane Improvement project.
The road has been closed since July 15.
