Closing the Health Care Gap for Aging Minorities
Solving that problem is the goal of Lincoln University's 10th annual Missouri Institute on Minority Aging.
"All the materials we gather and speeches are very informative, and there is a lot to think about," said participant Vivian Jones, who noticed some changes while attending her fourth conference.
"We have a senior group at church and we've had people come and talk to the seniors," she explained, "and we've got a lot of beneficial information from those."
The conference presented Missouri Sen. Jim Talent with the Troy D. Cole Leadership Award for legislative efforts on behalf of minorities and seniors.
