CMU Track and Field Earns All-American Honors

MARION, Ind. - Completing the 2013 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships four Central Methodist University athletes were named All-Americans.

The Eagles' 4x100 meter relay team of Jordan Coaxum, Derek Freeman, Cameron Blanton, and Marcus Lavergne all earned All-American honors. At the meet they finished eighth with a time of 41.82.

Other results from the meet today included CMU's Kate Fulton placed 13th in the high jump with a height of 1.63 meters. Also Colby Lapresi finished the marathon with a time of 2:54:34, placing 43rd overall.

Indiana Tech took home the 2013 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field team titles in both men and women's.
