CMU Women's Basketball With Named Daktronics-NIAI Scholar Athletes

FRANKFORT, KY. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Monday that five Central Methodist women's basketball student-athletes have been named 2012-13 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Seniors Raylyn Nuss and Brittney Hotsenpiller along with juniors Katlyn Douglas, Alison Durst and Nakia Robinson are among 125 Division I women's basketball student-athletes that have been named to the award list. Nuss and Hotsenpiller earn the honor for a second consecutive season.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
