Columbia Begins Annual Toy Drive

COLUMBIA - Columbia Parks and Recreation began its Annual Toys for Columbia's Youth toy drive. In the past, the drive has reached an average of over 300 registered children from low-income families. The goal for the drive is to provide at least three gifts for each child that registers.

New or gently used toys for boys and girls 14 and under can be dropped off at any of
these locations:

Parks & Recreation Administration - 1 S. 7th St.
Armory Sports & Community Center - 701 E. Ash St.
ARC - 1701 W. Ash St.
City of Columbia's Water & Light Dept. - 105 E. Ash St.
Jonesy's Instant Imprints - 1401 Forum Blvd., Ste. 103
Kelly Services - 2501 Bernadette Dr.
Sports Clips (2 locations) - 1401 Forum Blvd. or 2716 Paris Rd., Ste. 3
First State Community Bank (3 locations) - 3200 Golden Bear Dr., 15 S. 5th St., or
300 Diego Dr.
Tiger Dry Cleaning & Laundry (4 locations) - 3302 W. Broadway, 1608 Chapel Hill,
126 S. 8th St., or 3905 Peachtree Dr.
Assistant City Prosecutor' Office - 600 E. Broadway
or Jimmy John's (4 locations) - 1019 E. Broadway, 4008 W. Broadway, 212
Corporate Lake Dr., or 912 Rainforest Pkwy.

Monetary donations (cash, check, or credit card) are also accepted at 1 S. 7th St. or 701 E. Ash St., and a letter of receipt for tax purposes will be provided. Please provide a receipt for purchased toys. Donations will be accepted now through December 13.
