Columbia Buses on Emergency Routes

COLUMBIA - Columbia Transit put its buses on emergency routes Thursday. In a news release, the system said, "Due to hazardous road conditions, Columbia Transit will switch to the Emergency Weather Schedule at 10:00am today. Instead of the regular route schedules, buses will depart from the Wabash on the hour and from designated time-points on the half hour. Riders are urged to allow extra time for their commute as our bus operators reduce speed for safety during these slick, snowy conditions.

Designated time-points for each route are as follows:

101 North Loop : Oakland Junior High

101 South Loop : Bethel Street & Diego Drive

102 North Loop: Smiley Lane & Range Line Rd.

102 East Loop : Indian Hills

103 West Loop: Columbia Mall

103 NE Loop: Gerbes Paris Road

104 West Loop: Hy-Vee on Broadway

104 Southeast Loop: IBM Lemone Industrial Blvd.

105 Commuter: Transfer with 101 Loop on the half-hour

107 FastCAT: University of MO Hospital, running on 30 minute headway rather than 15"
