Columbia CVB to Unveil Completed Visitor's Bureau

COLUMBIA -  The Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau will unveil its completed community visitor center in the lobby of Columbia City Hall. On Tuesday, February 5th at 8:30 a.m., the Columbia Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will do a ribbon cutting commemorating this new facility.

City Manager Mike Matthes, CVB Director Amy Schneider and Neighborhood Services Manager Leigh Britt will be on hand to speak about the new center as well as the importance of visitors to Columbia's economy.

The community visitor center in City Hall features information on Columbia, including the Columbia Visitors Guide, and other local resources. The center is staffed by volunteers and iPads are on location for visitors to use in planning their time in Columbia.
