Columbia Fire Dept Responds to Dumpster Fire, Finds Other Structure Fires
COLUMBIA- The Columbia Fire Department responded to a call Monday night for a small outside fire, which lead to a discovery of multiple small fires inside the residence.
Upon the fire department's arrival to W. Ash Street, crews reported smoke and flames coming from a dumpster. While distinguishing the dumpster fire, crews noticed small fires in the home and upgraded the response to a structure fire response.
Damage is estimated to be about $500. One individual was taken into custody at the scene by the Columbia Police Department. There were no injuries reported with the incident.
