COLUMBIA - A North Columbia fire left none injured but caused an estimated $10,000 in damages. The fire occurred at 4004 Imperial Court, just off Clark Lane.

Fire officials said the fire started behind the duplex, and flames spread up the back side of the building. Officials said the flames did not advance any farther, or into the home, and the fire was put out quickly.

Columbia Fire Captain John Metz said the cause of the fire is unknown, but it may have been from something that occurred a few days beforehand.
