28-year-old Darren Wade Lasley was indicted in connection with a federal criminal complaint filed against him on June 22.
According to an affidavit, a Boone County Sheriff's Department detective attempted to seek out sexual predators through an online advertisement.
The affidavit said the detective began receiving emails from Lasley on June 14. In following emails, Lesley described plans for a sexual encounter and asked the decoy to sneak out of her house to meet up with him.
