Columbia Police Arrest Alleged Stalker
COLUMBIA - Officers from the Columbia Police Department arrested an alleged stalker Monday afternoon near her ex-husband's home.
Police said 49-year-old Caroline Lazinger had a warrant out for her arrest for felony stalking. Police said around 5:15 p.m., she went to her ex-husband's home in the 4600 block of Summer Brook Court and began ringing the doorbell.
Police said a 42-year-old woman inside the home reported seeing Lazinger ramming her car into the two vehicles parked in the driveway.
The department said officers were called to the residence and found Lazinger a short distance away. Police said Lazinger refused to comply and led officers on a short pursuit, which ended at Misty Grove Court and Garden Grove Drive.
The department said officers arrested Lazinger for two counts of felony tampering, felony resisting arrest and felony stalking.
