Columbia Police Arrest Arson Suspect

COLUMBIA - Columbia Police Department detectives arrested Charles William Drewery, 31, Wednesday for Arson in the First Degree. 

The arrest is related to the Dec. 1 fire in the 3000 block of Woods Crossing Drive. Police said Drewery set the residence on fire knowing people were inside. 

Detectives arrested him at a local medical facility after he was done with treatment. The bond amount has not been set yet.
