Columbia police arrest one man after a hostage situation involving gun
COLUMBIA - Columbia Police Officers arrested a Columbia man Friday in connection to a hostage situation involving a gun.
Officers arrested Kraig Keith Greene after a brief chase leading to the 300 block of West Business Loop 70.
The Columbia Police Department responded to an incident involving a gun around 6:45 Friday morning on Sexton Road.
The criminal investigations division said the victim was forced to leave a residence with Greene. The victim told police, while in a vehicle, Greene forced her to perform sexual acts. He also forced her to perform a sexual act with another man for money, according to police.
She was later able to gain access to a phone to contact law enforcement.
Greene is being charged with felony trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, sodomy in the first degree and felony kidnapping.
