COLUMBIA — Police responded to a robbery in progress at the Columbia Credit Union located at 310 E. Walnut Street Monday.
Police said a man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect left the bank on foot heading northbound with an undisclosed amount of money.
Officers said that no weapon was seen and no one was injured during the robbery.
Police have not released a photo or detailed description of the suspect. They stated that there the man did not have a vehicle.
