Columbia Regional Airport Customers to Experience Delays
COLUMBIA - Passengers on flights going through Columbia Regional Airport should expect delays Thursday.
According to a press release from Columbia Public Works, the airport has been without power for a few periods this morning, and flight delays are very likely due to the snow, winds, and poor runway conditions.
Airport managers encourage passengers to check with their carrier to determine their flight status in and out of the airport. Crews are treating the runways with de-icing agents and trying to keep snow and blowing snow off, but it is a challenge due to the weather conditions.
