Columbia Regional Airport Receiving "Tiger" Facelift
COLUMBIA - Travelers arriving at Columbia Regional Airport for this weekend's MU-Georgia game can expect to see a lot more black and gold in the terminal. Workers were busy posting new Mizzou decorations at the facility Wednesday afternoon.
The airport is getting these new look free from the MU Athletic Department.
The airport's full makeover will be complete Friday, just in time for fans arriving for Saturday's night game.
The airport's management expects about 300 private planes to come in between Wednesday and Saturday, all in addition to the regularly scheduled commercial flights.
