Columbia Residents Express Optimism for New Year

COLUMBIA - A new year presents the opportunity for people to change their habits, tackle their goals and start fresh.

KOMU 8 spoke with several Columbia residents Tuesday to see what is in store for them in the new year. Some residents are setting goals for their career and education. Jessica Noker, a Columbia resident would like to earn a 3.0 GPA, graduate from college and find a job.

Anthony and Krystle Colenburg of Columbia want to eat right and lose weight.

Losing weight is a popular resoultion nationwide. And so are undertakings like managing debt, spending more time with loved ones and quitting smoking.
