Community Shares Annual Holiday Meal
So, the 12 formed the Hungry & Lonely Dinner Committee to coordinate a meal that centers around the community.
"One man comes every year just to scoop mashed potatoes," said committee president Scott Robinson.
In addition to the meal, there were activites for everyone. Even Santa Claus made an appearance to hear last-minute Christmas wishes.
"There's nothing better than seeing the smile on kids' faces when they get their gifts," said Master of Ceremonies Jack Regan.
Families came from as far away as Kansas to share in the festivites. Everyone who attended received a meal and a Christmas gift.
