Construction Around Boone Hospital May Slow Traffic

COLUMBIA - Construction will begin near Boone Hospital center starting today as part of a 5-step program to improve the roads and sewage system around the hospital at the intersection of William and Bass streets.
Crews will shut down the west side of the roundabout in the hospital complex and the road will be limited to just south-bound traffic.
The William and Bass street entrances along with the main entrance will still be accessible to the general public during the construction process.
Construction is expected to last about three weeks.
