Construction on New Greenbriar Trail to Begin Soon

COLUMBIA - Preparation for the construction of the Greenbriar trail in Columbia starts today.
Lehman Construction is moving equipment to the site and construction is set to start in the next 10 days.
A grant of nearly $800,000 is paying for the trail, which will connect Greenbriar drive and the MU recreation trail.
Trail users can expect closures in the area and should be careful when entering a work zone.
The city expects the trail to be finished by late fall.
