Cougar Soccer Program Signs New Zealand Native
COLUMBIA - Columbia College men's soccer coach has signed Liam Cain to a national letter of intent to play soccer for the Cougars beginning this fall.
Cain, who is a native of Auckland, New Zealand, was the player of the year for his school in his senior year, scoring 23 goals as a midfielder. Liam graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and is the son of Kay and Stephen Cain.
"Liam will bring a strong, aggressive presence to our midfield," stated Klein. "He has an exceptional work-rate that will fit in well to our high pressure defensive system."
