Cougars Jump to No. 20 in Latest NAIA Top 25 Rating

COLUMBIA -- The Columbia Cougar men's basketball squad jumped to No. 20 in the latest NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Rating, released today by the national office. The Cougars moved up one spot after holding the No. 21 spot last week and collected 130 points this week.

Columbia is 20-6 overall and 7-1 versus American Midwest Conference (AMC) opponents. The Cougars are in the top spot in the AMC with four regular season contests remaining, including their next game on Thursday, February 16th when Columbia hosts Missouri Baptist University at 7:30 p.m.

The top five in the poll shuffled a little from last week with Shorter taking over the top spot with a 24-1 record. Oklahoma Baptist is second and last week's No. 1 Robert Morris fell to the third spot. Southern Poly and Rogers State round out the top five.
