Cougars Remain at No. 3 in Latest Top 25 Volleyball Poll

COLUMBIA -- In the latest NAIA Top 25 Rating released Tuesday by the national office in Kansas City, Missouri, the Columbia Cougar volleyball team held the No. 3 spot for the fourth consecutive week with 582 points. The Cougars are 16-1 overall and 6-0 vs. American Midwest Conference (AMC) opponents.

 The top 16 teams held their positions from a week ago, with the University of Texas at Brownsville in the top spot with 21 first place votes and an unblemished 12-0 record. Concordia (Calif.) University is second with one first place vote and a mark of 16-0. Biola (Calif.) University is fourth followed by Westmont (Calif.) University at fifth.

The Cougars host Park University on October 2 in their next contest. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in the Arena of Southwell Complex.
