Council Says No to Citizen Vote on City Hall Renovations
"In this building we have people sharing cubicles, uh, we've had to move people out of offices in the basement because the basement was falling in," said City Manager Bill Watkins.
The project would be paid during the next 20 years from various government sources. Watkins said taxes would not increase if the plan passes. At this hour, no decision had been made on going ahead with the renovations.
