Cross-Dressing Robber Holds Up Kansas Bank
MISSION, Kan. (AP) - Authorities in the Kansas City metro area are investigating another bank holdup by a cross-dressing robber.
It's the fourth such holdup since July in the region. One occurred in Kansas City, Mo., and the others just across the state line in Johnson County, Kan.
KSHB-TV reports that a man dressed as a woman held up a Mission Bank branch just before noon Monday in Mission, Kan.
The FBI says it's not yet clear if the robber is the same man who held up a U.S. Bank branch in Prairie Village last month and a U.S. Bank in Roeland Park on July 26.
A man dressed as a woman also robbed an M & I bank on July 22 near the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Mo.
