Crowds gather in Columbia to root on the Tigers in the Citrus Bowl
COLUMBIA - Crowds gathered in Columbia to root on the Missouri Tigers in the Citrus Bowl Thursday afternoon. The Missouri Tigers beat the Minnesota Golden Gophers 33-17.
Columbia fans cheered them on the entire way at the Mizzou Alumni Association's Boone County Chapter and the Tiger Quarterback Club watch party. The entire room was filled with hope for the Mizzou tigers throughout the game.
Tiger Fan Wally Pfeffer said he's happy for all of the Mizzou fans who were able to go to Orlando, Florida to watch the Tigers play.
"We are having a lot of fun it's always great when Mizzou alumni get together to celebrate the Tigers and to cheer the Tigers on," he said.
The event was held at the Sports Zone at the Holiday Inn in Columbia.
