Death of Man at Eastern Mo. River Accidental
WASHINGTON, Mo. (AP) - The death of a man along an eastern Missouri river appears to be accidental.
The Washington Missourian reports that 59-year-old Gerald Richards of Franklin County was found Wednesday afternoon on the bank of the Bourbeuse River.
Richards lived in an RV at a small camping area by the river. Sheriff Gary Toelke says the cause of death is not yet known but it appears that Richards went to the river bank to feed ducks, fell in and couldn't get back up a steep, slick bank.
