Deputies Discover Meth Lab, Arrest Two in Climax Springs

CAMDEN COUNTY - Camden County Sheriff's deputies arrested two after authorities discovered a methamphetamine lab in Climax Springs.

The Camden County Sheriff's Department said deputies arrested Matthew Allen Fitzwater, 49, of Climax Springs Thursday. Captain Kelly Luttrell said Fitzwater faces felony charges of intent to distribute a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges for possession of a controlled substance. Luttrell said Fitzwater is being held at the Camden County Adult Detention Facility on $1,000 cash or $7,500 surety bond.

Deputies also arrested and charged Rebecca Irene Randolph, 22, with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Randolph is being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility. She also faces a $1,000 cash or $7,5000 surety bond.

The Camden County Street Crimes Unit and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group conducted the investigation.
