Deputies make second arrest in Higbee Casey's robbery
RANDOLPH COUNTY - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office announced Friday it made a second arrest relating to the armed robbery at the Casey's in Higbee on October 23.
The sheriff's office declined to name the person arrested, but said he or she is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond. It said on its Facebook page a warrant needs to be issued before it can name the individual.
Deputies arrested 17-year-old Brian Koch of Moberly in connection to the crime Wednesday. Prosecutors charged him with robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
According to deputies, the robbery happened at around 9:30 p.m. The suspect took cash from the store and ran away. Randolph County Sheriff Mark Nichols said no one was injured and no shots were fired.
