Deputies: Two victims in Boone County shooting
BOONE COUNTY - Deputies from the Boone County Sheriff's Department told KOMU 8 News two people were shot on Demaret Drive Wednesday night.
Law enforcement officials were called to a convenience store after a report of two victims had been shot, said Boone County Detective Tom O'Sullivan.
Law enforcement officials have an idea of who the suspect is in the shooting.
The suspect fired at least one round of shots into a car that the two victims were inside of. The victims, 19 and 30, then went into the Phillips 66 on St. Charles Road and proceeded to call police.
Deputies said one victim was shot in the arm, but did not release details about the other victim, deputies on scene said they suffered minor injuries.
The victims were taken to the hospital by a University of Missouri ambulance.
