COLUMBIA — Dorial Green-Beckham, Mizzou football wide receiver, is no longer facing a drug charge according to the Columbia Municipal Court.
Green-Beckham pleaded guilty October 16 to second degree trespassing, after his original charge of possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana was amended.
Both Levi Copelin and Torey Boozer have yet to plead with their charges of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana. Their court date is scheduled for December 4 at 1:30 pm.
After city voters approved a 2004 ballot measure, possession of small amounts of marijuana in Columbia are treated as a low-level offense, similar to a traffic citation.
Violators usually pay a fine of no more than $250 and receive community service hours rather than any jail time.
