DNR Offers Boone County $1.4 Million Loan for Sewer Upgrades

BOONE COUNTY - Missouri's Department of Natural Resources, or DNR, awarded the Boone County Regional Sewer District a nearly $1.4 million low-interest loan to upgrade its wastewater treatment system.
The sewer district will use the loan for two projects, the Rayfield sanitary sewer project and a joint project with Columbia to provide sewer service to Battle High School.
The loan could save customers more than half a million dollars over the life of the loan.
