COLUMBIA - Missouri football wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham has a scheduled court appearance Thursday for his arrest on Oct. 3.

DGB received a misdemeanor charge of possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana. After a 2004 ballot measure approved by city voters, possession of small amounts of pot in Columbia are treated as a low-level offense, similar to a traffic citation.

Violators usually pay a fine of no more than $250 and receive community service hours rather than any jail time.
