JEFFERSON CITY - Sunday's weather has been a far cry from the rest of the weekend, after temperatures dropped by more than 20 degrees from Saturday. According to Ameren Missouri, storms left more than 50 Jefferson City residents without power Sunday afternoon.

With lower temperatures over the next few days, the Missouri Department of Transportation has advice on how to stay safe on the roads:

• Obey the speed limit
• Do not try to pass snow plows on the road and give them enough space
• Keep windows and mirrors cleared of snow and ice
• Keep your gas tank above half full when temperatures drop
