Driver arrested after leading Fulton police on motorcycle chase
CALLAWAY COUNTY – A man was in jail Monday after police said he led them on a high speed motorcycle chase that ended in a crash.
The Fulton Police Department said officers arrested Brandon Harrison Sunday night. He faces charges for driving under the influence of drugs, having marijuana and drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of a weapon, not having an operator’s license, speeding 70 mph in a 30 mph zone, resisting arrest and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
Fulton police said officers tried to stop a motorcycle driver who was speeding on South Business 54, but the driver would not pull over for police.
Officers said Harrison led police on a chase out of Fulton on State Route F to Route KK. The chase ended after Harrison crashed his motorcycle and was thrown from it. Police said he was not hurt.
Police said Harrison was in the Callaway County Jail on a $7,383 bond.
