Eagles Baseball Splits Doubleheader at Peru State

PERU, NE - Central Methodist and Peru State split a pair of Heart of America Athletic Conference baseball games Wednesday afternoon.

The Bobcats took the first game 8-2 before the Eagles claimed the second 6-2.

With the split, the Bobcats are now 6-6 in the HAAC and 12-13 overall. The Eagles' record is now 11-7 overall and 7-3 in the HAAC, as the Green and Black maintain a two-game lead over Evangel for first in the Eastern Division.

Central Methodist travels to Graceland for a doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
