Earthquake in Southeast Missouri
SIKESTON, Mo. - The US Geological Survey is reporting that southeast Missouri experienced a 4.0 magnitude earthquake.
It happened shortly before 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The epicenter of the quake was nearly 10 miles east-southeast of Sikeston, Mo. KOMU's Eric Aldrich says that an earthquake like this can be felt a significant distance from the epicenter but generally does not cause a lot of damange.
