Failing Grade for College Costs
That's a number study officials say is unacceptable. But MU student government officials want the public to know that cutting back isn't as easy as it sounds.
"As a state institution and a public university we have to be accessible and affordable to all students in Missouri because we serve that mission," said MSA President John Andersen. "So that's something we always need to keep in mind, but it's a delicate balance with quality."
Missouri was in good company. Forty-two other states also failed the affordability test.
