JEFFERSON CITY - Fatal accidents in Boone County decreased from 13 in 2012 to just three in 2013, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Newly released numbers show fatalities in Troop F have decreased by 15 percent over the past year. This is a decrease from 62 in 2012 to 53 in 2013.

Troop F covers most of mid-Missouri, including Boone, Cole, Howard, Miller and Osage counties.

"We will continue to vigorously enforce all traffic laws related to impaired and aggressive driving," said Captain Gregory Kindle, Troop F commanding officer. "Through our education efforts, we will continue emphasizing the importance of wearing a seat belt. Our goal is for fatalities to continue to decrease every year."

Below is the full list of Troop F fatalities by counties. These numbers could change in the event of a death from an accident last year.
