Father Gives Sons MU Diplomas
"When I'm driving past campus and I'll see the freshman, sophomore kids going to class in the snow and the rain and the heat, and I'll think about doing that and how fun that was," said Jesse Bhullar MU graduate.
Jesse Bhullar is no stranger to this campus, he's been coming here with his dad since he was little.
"He used to take me to his office when I was like 5 or 6 years old and I used to , me and my younger brother used to run around the office causing trouble," said Bhullar. "And it was the same professors in that office that taught me here the last four years."
His father taught for nearly 30 years for the college of Natural Resources.
Now Jesse has a diploma from the same school.
"It is such a neat feeling to see success on the part of my son, he worked hard and I'm very proud of him and I just think he is going to do well", said former MU professor Hardeep Bhullar.
Bhullar watched his son graduate from a unique angle, the college asked him back to present Jesse's diploma.
Hardeep Bhullar presented not just one son a diploma Saturday both of his sons graduated, one at 11:30, the second at 3:00.
And the kid who once ran around the office, takes home the diploma from the school where his dad taught.
"I didn't think about it up until this day, only a couple kids get to have their parents hand their diplomas to them, and it was pretty special, said Jese Bhullar.
