Fayette has only won one game in the past two seasons, but first-year coach Tom Oakley should be ready to take charge. Eighteen starters return, which should be good for the Falcons.

The offense has been a little inexperienced at quarterback in the past, but senior Zach Cook is ready to take on the leadership role. Quality offensive line play will be essential if the flexbone offense is expected to work early.

The Falcons 4-4 defense returns five of the top six tacklers from last season.
