KANSAS CITY - FBI officials say a new team of prosecutors and investigators plan to target human trafficking in Kansas and Missouri.
The two states will participate in a nationwide Human Trafficking Enhanced Enforcement initiative. The program is designed to streamline investigations and prosecution of human trafficking.
The first investigative teams in this investigation will be in Kansas City, Atlanta, Memphis, Los Angeles, Miami and El Paso, Texas.
