COLUMBIA - The Mizzou football team is less than a month away from kicking off its inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference, and Tiger fans are showing their support by securing a record number of season tickets. The Mizzou Athletic Department officially eclipsed its preseason goal of 45,000 season tickets this week. The previous season ticket high, on record, was in 2008 when fans purchased 41,413. A total of 39,879 season tickets were sold in 2011.

A limited number of both public and student season tickets remain available. The Mizzou Ticket Office estimates approximately 300 public season ticket locations and around 600 Football-Only student tickets remain. Fans are encouraged to officially request tickets online at mutigers.com. Students who have registered for fall classes are eligible to purchase Football-Only tickets at mutigers.com as well.

Single game tickets for the three non-conference home games are currently available for purchase online, by phone at 1-800-CAT PAWS or 884-7297, or at the Mizzou Ticket Office.

Beginning Aug. 8, Tiger Scholarship Fund members at designated levels will have the first opportunity to purchase single game tickets to SEC games, followed by Mizzou Football season ticket holders. If tickets remain, SEC games will go on sale to the public on Friday, Aug. 24 beginning at 6 pm online at MUTigers.com. Tickets will be available by phone at 1-800-CAT-PAWS or 884-7297 and at the Mizzou Ticket Office beginning on Monday, Aug. 27 at 8 am.

Please note: single game tickets for the Georgia and Alabama games may not be available to the public. A season ticket is the only way to guarantee a ticket to all seven Mizzou football home games.

All orders are subject to availability.
