For All We Call Estate Gifts
In the For All We Call Mizzou campaign roughly 33% of the $717 million have been in estate gifts.
All over the University of Missouri-Columbia campus signs proclaim of the $717 million raised in the campaign, but not all of the money has been collected, with a good portioin in estate gifts. Of the estate gifts $52 million has been collected, but the gruesom truth is that the additional $161 that has been pledged won't be collected until the death of the donor.
Assistent Vice Chancellor for MU development David Clithero said, "Planned gifts are an important part of our campaign.
Although not all of the gifts have been collected Mizzou officials see the benefit of pending gifts when planning for the future.
Development Spokewoman for the For All We Call Mizzou campaign said, "It's reassuring to know that we'll have money coming in over the next 20 years because of all these estage gifts."
With gifts like the two-million dollars donated to the school of medicine last week old mizzou has a bright future.
