Former adult film star speaks out about human trafficking
COLUMBIA - Anti-human trafficking advocate and former adult film star, Jessica Neely worked along side the Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition (CMSHTC) this week to spread the word about human trafficking and what can be done to stop it.
"There's sex industry survivors on every frontline apart of this movement. And where do I see myself? Addressing the root of it all," Neely said.
The community was invited to attend CMSHTC's five day series aimed to better understand the pornography industry and rally together in the fight against modern slavery.
Neely spoke at the youth rally Friday night at the Missouri United Methodist Church in Columbia.
The community came together in the fight against human trafficking to listen to Neely speak and enjoy free pizza.
