Former Mid-Missouri Stars Selected in MLB Draft
COLUMBIA -- A pair of former Mid-Missouri area high school stars were selected on the final day of the MLB Draft.
Former Hickman pitcher James Hudelson who played a year at Mizzou before transferring to Delta State was taken by the Chicago White Sox in the 28th round. Former Moberly star Corey Embree, who played a year at Maplewoods Community College, selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 38th round.
