FORT LEONARD WOOD - Fort Leonard Wood officials are hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the 40 houses built to replace those destroyed after a 2010 EF3 Tornado.
The project is called the Woodlands New Homes Expansion Project, and it's expected to be completed by May of next year. By that time, a total of 160 duplexes are in line to be built. Each duplex will have a tornado safe room.
