JEFFERSON CITY - State and local political candidates gave residents a chance to hear their views Thursday night. The event was hosted by the Young Professionals of the Jefferson City area Chamber of Commerce.

Candidates spoke on a variety of different issues, but a common one was in regard to SMRs or Small Modular Reactors and the construction of those is mid- Missouri.
