Four Ferguson protesters charged in attack over video
FERGUSON (AP) - Four Ferguson protesters face felony robbery charges in connection with the attack of a man they accused of distributing an unauthorized video of a protest strategy session.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the four suspects are members of the group Lost Voices. A fifth suspect remains at large.
Chris Schaefer told police he was dragged outside of a north St. Louis County church on November 6 and beaten by five or six men. The defendants are accused of taking Schaefer's cellphone and charger. Schaefer denied recording the meeting.
One of the women charged with second-degree robbery told the newspaper that she tried to stop the attack on Schaefer and helped return Schaefer's missing phone to a friend.
